Au Pair Agency with a fresh approach

How we work

The Family Placement process – Easy as Pie

1. Register

Completing the online form as comprehensively as possible will help us to offer you the very best candidate choices within the shortest time. With more information to work from, we can build a more detailed profile, and ensure we only select candidates who will meet your requirements. We thoroughly recommend a few family photos. Pictures really do tell a story.

As soon as we have received your details, we will give you a quick call to let you know all received, tell you a little more about how we work, and discuss your requirements as required.

2. Searching for the right candidate

Based on your specific requirements, we will work to match these carefully to our candidates. They could be registered with us directly via our website or through our partner agencies. In every case, we require from the applicants a minimum of 2 references, a medical certificate, a CRB check along with their ‘Dear Family letter’ and photos.

3. Arranging Interviews and feedback process

We will send you the details of selected candidates files, with our comments based on why we feel they will be suitable. Once you have had a chance to look through all the details, we can discuss the candidates, answer any questions you may have or arrange interviews. The interview is an important stage and we will always work with candidates and the host family to ensure both parties get the very most out the experience. The family and Au pair will have a great opportunity to get to know each other and talk about start dates. It can be daunting for all involved, and especially challenging for the candidate from a language point of view. After the interview, we will speak with both parties separately to make sure all questions have been answered.

4. Agreement Letter

Once you have made your decision and selected the Au Pair, the next step is to write an agreement letter to the Au Pair to welcome them to your family. This letter will also include the outline of the duties as discussed, typical hours and pocket money. Perfect Match Au Pairs will provide you with a completed agreement letter based on your requirements for your review. At this stage, we will ask the candidate to start looking into travel arrangements.

5. Payment

Once all details are confirmed, we will ask for payment of our agency fee. Final arrangements will be made once this has been received. We do recommend that you have regular contact with the Au pair until she/he arrives.

6. Arrival Day!

The candidate will travel to the UK at their own expense and you will need to meet her/him on arrival at the airport or coach station for example. If you require her/him to travel to a more convenient location closer to you, we can help arrange it but we will charge you for this service.
