Au Pair Agency with a fresh approach

Childcare Options

Au pairs are usually aged between 17-27 (though they can be older). They come from Europe to improve their English language knowledge.

The Au pair program is a cultural exchange experience and Au Pairs must live in your home and be treated as a member of the family.

They can assist with childcare and do light house work and in exchange for this, they are provided with accommodation, full board and pocket money. They must have their own room.

Mother’s helps usually have no qualification but have childcare experience. They can be more hands on than au pairs and also live in your home.

They are usually learning to become a nanny and gain more experience this way.

They should not be in sole charge of children ages under 2, unless they already have experience with that age group.

Their mother tongues are usually English, or they are fluent in English.

Nannies are usually qualified, trained in childcare or well experienced. They can be in sole charge of children of all ages. They can do anything from feeding, washing, dressing, educating the children, planning activities. Generally to help the children to learn and develop.

They usually have a first aid certificate too.

Nannies can live in or live out and work full time or part time.
